Eileen Drucker, a 60-year-old grandmother from Maryland, found herself the focus of a series of viral videos, as well as Kodak Black’s own Instagram, as she rapped along with “Roll In Peace”—and yes, she knew all the words. The footage was captured by keen diver and angler Amanda Callahan on April 15 around seven miles southwest of the American Shoal lighthouse during a day of fishing with friends. Callahan later published some of what she shot to her Aquablu Youtube channel. “The Gulfstream was in close that day and all the right conditions were present, the right time of day, current, tide, water temp and wind which made for a lot of activity,” Callahan told the Miami Herald/FLKeysnews....
The man, a surfer believed to be in his 50s, was dragged out of the water and onto Tuncurry Beach off the New South Wales coast by onlookers after being attacked by a shark on Tuesday morning. Shortly afterward, at around 11 a.m., medics arrived after receiving multiple reports of the attack, according to a statement by New South Wales Police. At least five ambulance teams responded to the scene, as paramedics performed CPR on the man, who had suffered severe injuries to his right thigh in the incident....
The shark was found on a remote beach at a small rural community called Fowlers Bay on the Eyre Peninsula in the state of South Australia, as first reported by Australian regional outlet ABC Eyre Peninsula and West Coast on Monday. A spokesperson for South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water (DEW) told Newsweek that the great white was a juvenile male—approximately one year old—that measures around eight feet in length....
Some measure up to 15 feet in length, according to specialist helicopter pilot Chris Gularte who took KPIX 5 reporter Betty Yu into to air to see the sharks. She reported that she saw over a dozen sharks lurking below the surface from 800 feet in the air. Gularte said he has been monitoring the waters for around five years and believes the animals are attracted by the “warm, calm shallow water,” he told KPIX....
