At the scene of the shooting, the police found 20-year-old Sean Amone dead, while four others were transported to a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds....

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has been tasked with the role of monitoring footballers, team officials and referees in the country by the Malaysian FA (FAM), announced the agency on Friday. Police in Bradenton report that 87-year-old Lillian Parks made “several spontaneous, concerning remarks,” claiming she intentionally overdosed her 30-year-old grandson, Joel, “with the intention of ending his life.” It’s not clear what Joel’s disabilities were, but Parks was concerned about her own flagging health “and was worried about who would be caring for him when she passed away,” said Bradenton Police Department spokesperson Cap’t Brian Thiers. It’s unclear if Parks was suffering from any specific illnesses....

On January 11, just a few days after the Capitol assault, a witness submitted a recording of Rubenacker’s Snapchat “story,” which showed the Long Island resident documenting incidents before and during the riot, according to a court document. “The witness stated that Snapchat user Rubenacker had sent multiple Snapchat videos to the witness from inside the Capitol building on January 6, 2021,” the court document says. The first recording submitted by the witness showed a screenshot of Rubenacker’s Snapchat story, where the username “GREG RUBENACKER” is visible in the top-right corner....

In a statement, the FSIS said that the Lakeside Refrigerated Services products that were being recalled were produced between February 1 and April 8. Thirteen western lowland gorillas at the zoo tested positive, leaving senior staff “very concerned” over the situation. The animals’ minders decided to test the primates, of which there are 20 living in four groups, after noticing “coughing, nasal discharge, and minor changes in appetite.” After the results came back, the zoo theorized the gorillas contracted the virus from a worker who had also tested positive.
