When it comes to winning hearts and minds, Macedonians are doing a much better job on the diplomatic front than in their own streets and front lines. As evidence of widespread human-rights abuses mounted, NATO secretary-general Lord George Robertson continued to condemn the Albanian insurgents of the National Liberation Army (NLA) for provoking the crisis. NATO pledged to tighten the Kosovo border to cut off guerrilla supply lines. The international community has supported Macedonia’s government of national unity, composed of both ethnic Macedonians and Albanians, and has backed its refusal to negotiate with the NLA....

According to terrorism experts, the devices were strikingly similar to 14 letter bombs that were seized in Tel Aviv in 1990 and suspected by Israel to have come from a radical Palestinian group. Convicted Word Trade Center terrorist Mohammad Salameh, incarcerated at the Leavenworth, Kans., prison targeted for three of the bombs, recently published an appeal for support in an Ontario Islamic newspaper-printing his Leavenworth address.

That won’t be easy. Gujarat is the second-most industrialized state in India. Watney and Svoboda shot 64, Stuard had a 65 and Laird a 66. Ryo Ishikawa had the best round of the day — a 62 that was one stroke off the course record and included six birdies on the back nine....

The 41-year-old golfer reportedly saved Davies from drowning while in Barbados. Davies suffers from Parkinson’s disease and admits he shouldn’t have entered the water in the first place. “I have Parkinson’s disease so to enter the sea was foolhardy or stupid. As soon as I entered I realized I was in trouble. My legs wouldn’t move, and my wife Linda was out of earshot," he told England’s Birmingham Mail....

GOP congressional candidate and vehemently pro-Trump, anti-“illegal immigrant” Fox News frequenter Omar Navarro was arrested and booked on extortion, stalking, making criminal threats and disobeying a 5-year order of protection filed against him by Pelosi challenger DeAnna Lorraine. The San Francisco Sheriff’s Department website lists his charges ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. Despite Lorraine’s Contempt of Court motion last month and a Los Angeles District Court judge’s warnings telling Navarro to back off, he has continued to lash out against Lorraine and the charges against him on Twitter even after the arrest....
