Getting your hands on Dragon Scaled Armor is no small feat, and it isn’t something you’re going to achieve quickly. Instead, you’re going to need to hunt down and kill several dragons, drakes, and drekis to craft it. You’ll first encounter these creatures while exploring the Crate of Vanaheim.
How to Craft Dragon Scaled Armor
Each piece of Dragon Scaled Armor will require a certain type of material for you to craft it. There are a total of nine hunts found throughout the crater. Each dragon, drake, or drekis that you kill will have the opportunity to drop some of the materials needed in order to craft the Dragon Scaled Armor and complete the Dragon Slayer trophy.
You will need the following materials to craft the Dragon Scaled Armor:
22x Dragon Tooth1x Dragon Claw
Of course, this list of materials doesn’t take into account how much you will need in order to upgrade all three armor pieces up to level nine. If you want to do that, you’ll have to continue hunting down and killing dragons, drakes, and drekis until you’ve acquired the necessary number of materials.
Fighting these creatures is not easy, either. While it isn’t as difficult as the Berserker Souls that you can take on by interacting with Berserker Gravestones, you will still need to increase your health and learn how to parry if you want to survive these fights.
Dragon Scaled Armor Overview
Now that you know how to get the Dragon Scaled Armor, let’s take a look at the three main pieces and what they do.
Dragon Scaled Breastplate
This important piece of Dragon Scaled Armor will grant a buff of increasing Strength and Defense with each block and parry. The buff increases with each stack and resets whenever damage is taken.
Dragon Scaled Bracers
This armor will increase all shield damage when equipped. Additionally, all successful parries and blocks will also deal damage to any nearby enemies.
Dragon Scaled Girdle
When equipped, this piece of Dragon Scaled Armor will increase all shield damage and will also deal damage to all nearby enemies with every successful block or parry that you complete.
