“No more Jim Carrey,” Dragic said Friday (via the Miami Herald). “They just put a crown over it. I was there for two hours. I still need to go back on Monday.”
Dragic may suddenly be more photogenic, but his teammates wish the unique look had stuck around a bit longer.
“I liked the Jim Carrey look,” Dwyane Wade said. “I don’t know if his wife liked it, but I liked it on him. It was funny. Every time he smiled, you got a laugh out of it.”
Dragic said he had no plans to wear a mouth guard to protect his new crown, but said he and the Heat trainers will try to figure out something to prevent another oral emergency.
