Another week, another huge push in the rankings for Massachusetts pro Nicholas Petrangelo (GPI No. 5) who moves up to a career-best #5 ranking this week, moving past four others just one week after cracking the World Top 10 for the very first time of his career on the live tournament circuit. Petrangelo, who began 2015 ranked in the 900’s, has enjoyed immense success this season thanks to nine Top 10 finishes, including his first gold bracelet victory in a preliminary event at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in June.

Meanwhile, Italian sensation Mustapha Kanit (GPI No. 9) skyrockets up the standings this week, making a return to the World Top 10 for the first time since May. Kanit, who won the High Roller event at the EPT Barcelona Festival over the weekend, moved to #1 on Italy’s All-Time Money List following his victory in Spain.
