Greg Sankey Steps Into Mike Slive S Role As Sec Commissioner

The league announced the news Friday.

Slive became SEC commissioner in 2002 and announced in October of last year that he would be retiring. At the time, he also said that he would start treatment for the recurrence of prostate cancer. He was expected to stay on through July 31.
