Blanchard is currently behind bars for the murder of her mother, which she enlisted her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to commit. Blanchard was a victim of her mother’s Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, a mental disorder that causes a caretaker to keep their patient or loved one ill.

King and other cast members of the Hulu series were nominated for Emmy awards last week. While Blanchard said she’s happy for them, she doesn’t want to meet King, said the spokesperson, Fancy Macelli, in an interview with TMZ. Not only does Blanchard not want to endorse the show because of inaccuracies, Macelli explained, but because she wants to put the dark chapter of her life behind her.

Some of the purported inaccuracies include Blanchard’s then sex life, which Macelli said was made to make Blanchard “seem like a nymphomaniac,” according to TMZ, and exaggerations of her mother’s abuse in her tying Blanchard to a bed to make sure she doesn’t run away. This encounter is shown in The Act, and Blanchard said it only happened one time.

Macelli did not immediately answer Newsweek’s request for comment on any other inaccuracies in the television show.

Blanchard, though still in prison was engaged earlier this year. She’ll be eligible for parole as early as 2023.

As for Godejohn, who is still in prison as well, he may not be moving on as quickly. Godejohn recently explained that he believes Blanchard is his soulmate, even though it seems unlikely their paths will cross again. “From the very beginning, I just knew we were soulmates,” he said in an interview with Oxygen for the special Gypsy Rose & Nick: A Love to Kill. “Those five days when I was actually with her, physically with her, those five days were the most intense, and magical, and awe-inspiring days I’ve ever had.”

Godejohn is in prison for life for Dee Dee Blanchard’s murder and is not eligible for parole. Before his conviction, though, he’d begun planning a life with Blanchard. “I was gonna get a job and start looking for an apartment. After a little ways down the road, I’d probably end up marrying her and end up having children with her,” he explained. “That’s something I’ve never had with someone else. To this day, she’s the only one I’ve ever had that with.”
