The injury occurred late in the second quarter when Millsap collided with Brooklyn’s Earl Clark. Both players were going after a loose ball when Millsap fell and stayed down.

“I thought he got run over. It was a loose ball, two guys going for it. I think he got hit pretty good," said coach Mike Budenholzer, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Millsap did not return to the court, and the Hawks didn’t have much of an update on his status following the game.

The Hawks will hope to be at full health when they reach the playoffs as the Eastern Conference’s top seed.
