U.S. fans can also look forward to a rush of foreign films about Vincent van Gogh, honoring this year’s 100th anniversary of his death. Among them: “Vincent & Theo,” a Robert Altman movie already shown on European TV; “Vincent and Me,” a Canadian film about a 12-year-old girl’s sketches sold to the Japanese as van Gogh’s newly discovered childhood drawings, and Akira Kurosawa’s “Dreams,” featuring director Scorsese as van Gogh.
