Adidas announced Monday that the company will buy a private island for any prospect who can break Chris Johnson’s 40-yard dash record.
The record, set in 2008, was 4.24 seconds.
There is (of course) a catch.
To win the private island, Adidas says prospects MUST break the record, while wearing their special edition adizero 5-Star 40 cleats.
The cheetah print cleats were designed specifically for the 40-yard dash, as they weigh only 4.8 ounces.

The price of the private island is also capped at $1,000,000, but that can still buy some nice pieces of earth, as pointed out by ESPN’s Darren Rovell:

That’s enough motivation to make any man put on some cheetah cleats.
