While most of the players hail from Liga MX -- including six from Herrera's former employer, Club America -- eight European-based names are also on the list, including minute-starved Javier Hernandez and Andres Guardado, whose Bayer Levekusen side lost 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week.

Tigres striker Alan Pulido, 22, who lit up South Korea for a hat trick on his debut in January, has been retained. The other Liga MX youngster who made his international debut in that match, Pachuca's Rodolfo Pizarro, has been left out.
