It seems Ginn may have found a challenger willing to take him on: Texas high school track sensation Matthew Boling, who has recently become a viral hit for the incredible speed he routinely puts on display.

Boling responded to a ProFootballTalk story talking about Ginn’s challenge with a one-word response on Friday:

Boling, you’ll remember, recently ran the 100-meter dash in a wind-aided 9.98 seconds.

Boling, who is committed to run track at Georgia, then broke the official national high school record last week with a time of 10.13 seconds in the same event. He’s far from just a straight-line sprinter, however. Here he is overcoming a 30-meter deficit as he anchors his team in the 1600-meter relay to give his team the 6A state championship.

The most impressive part of Boling’s athletic prowess is how much faster he can get with a college training regimen.

Still, there’s a reason Ginn has had such a lucrative career in the NFL. He was a track star in high school himself, winning the national championship and two Ohio state titles in the 110-meter high hurdles, a state title in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles and a state title in the 200-meter run, according to Ohio State.

So, could Boling run down Ginn one on one? Guess the only way to find out is to race.
