The former movie producer appeared in court virtually on Tuesday as a judge cleared away a petition from his defense team opposing the extradition. The 56-year-old man from Lahaina, Hawaii, was paddling in Honolua Bay, Maui, on Tuesday morning when he encountered a shark. He was given first aid on shore and then rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
